While we’re still waiting for Omoda & Jaecoo (O&J) Philippines to make their formal brand launch in our market, another batch of customer units have arrived in the country, particularly of their Jaecoo EJ6.

Comprising a total of 60 units, the first batch of the all-electric off-road crossover arrived last December 2024, and are all in 4WD form.

The EJ6 was initially previewed by O&J for the local market at last year’s Philippine Electric Vehicle Summit (PEVS) in October, and the public was able to test it out at the Auto Focus Pre-Christmas Test Drive Festival in November.

For those who are curious, it is powered by dual electric motors that produce a combined 279 horsepower and 385 Nm of torque. This is paired to a 69.77 kWh lithium-ion battery that allows it to drive up to 421 km on a single charge.

Pricing is not yet available but with the arrival of the first batch of Jaecoo EJ6, they are now available for pre-order at the brand’s lone operating dealership in Cebu City, or through the brand’s official website and social media pages. All we need to wait for now is for the brand to actually launch.
