2021 Nissan X-Trail leaked in new images
What appears to be the next-generation of the Nissan X-Trail or Rogue in the USA has been leaked on the internet. These first images show a definitely larger body and more aggressive design compared to the current X-Trail.
In front, we can see the newer version of Nissan’s signature V-Motion grille. It also has split headlights which gives the front end an overall look that is similar to the 2nd-generation Nissan Juke.
On the inside, the photos show a more upscale interior. While the current interior isn’t bad at all, the new one looks like it’ll take things to a different level. We can see in the photos a quilted pattern on the leather seats and a large floating touchscreen. Photos also show a completely digital instrument cluster.
No information on what the possible engine options could be were leaked. The current X-Trail is equipped with a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder gasoline engine with 171 horsepower and 233 Newton-meters of torque paired with a continuously variable transmission.
The current generation Nissan X-Trail was first introduced in 2014. Its main rivals, the Honda CR-V and Toyota RAV4 both received major updates in 2017 and 2018 respectively.
