The Jeep Grand Cherokee is back! After a few years of absence, Jeep Philippines, under the Auto Nation Group (ANG), recently reintroduced its midsize crossover offering in the Philippine market.
Jeep Philippines brought in the long wheelbase Grand Cherokee L for the nameplate’s comeback with it now serving as the American brand’s flagship offering as well for the market. Also, it comes in one variant, the Limited. So what does it have to offer?
For starters, it gets Jeep’s signature seven-slot grille in front, which also serves as the company’s logo, flanked by a set of multi-reflector LED headlights. Plenty of chrome can also be found scattered around the vehicle for a more premium look. Other exterior stuff include LED taillights, 20-inch alloy wheels, a panoramic sunroof, and roof rails.
As for its interior, Jeep designed it to be more luxurious with its premium leather upholstery, open-pore wood trim, and two-tone black and beige interior color scheme. Among its features are a 10.1-inch touchscreen UConnect infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a Qi wireless charging pad, multi-function leather-wrapped steering wheel, and ambient lighting.
Under the hood, the 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee L is powered by a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 gasoline engine that produces 278 horsepower and 344 Nm of torque, paired to an 8-speed automatic transmission. Jeep Philippines claims a fuel consumption of 8.1 km/l inside the city, and 11 km/l on the highway.
The 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee L Limited is now officially available at all five Jeep dealerships in the country (Greenhills, Alabang, San Fernando-Pampanga, Clark-Pampanga, and Cebu). It is priced at Php 5,490,000.
