2026 Hyundai Palisade arrives in PH with hybrid power, priced at Php 3.980M
The all-new 2026 Hyundai Palisade has been launched in the Philippines, sooner than we expected.
Revealed late last year, it receives a major redesign inside and out, and also marks the second generation of the Korean automaker’s flagship SUV. It also marks the model’s entry into the world of electrification.
Under the hood of this new Hyundai Palisade is a 2.5-liter turbocharged Smartstream G engine paired to an electric motor, producing a combined total output of 334 horsepower and 422Nm of torque, mated to a six-speed automatic transmission.
Design-wise, it takes on a different design direction compared to other Hyundai models with its stately and premium look. The front fascia is imposing with a large front grille and vertical headlights with horizontal elements, matched with a boxier side profile and rear, which features taillights that mimic the headlights.
Inside, the new Palisade features what Hyundai calls a Premium Living Space with its horizontal layout that is said to be inspired by premium furniture. As with recent Hyundai products, it features a panoramic curved display.
Seating capacity is for eight occupants in a 2-2-3 layout, with second row captain’s chairs. Features include full LED exterior lighting, 21-inch two-tone alloy wheels, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, and a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system
It also features an island-type center console which is separated from the dashboard providing more room. Found there is a 100W USB port, a wireless charger, large-capacity cup holders (2), lower storage space, and a console box that opens on both sides.
On the safety front, it’s equipped with Hyundai’s Smartsense suite of advanced driver-assist systems, including new additions like Reverse Parking Collision Avoidance Assist and Side Parking Distance Warning.
