2nd-gen Mitsubishi Xpander confirmed for beyond 2025

The Mitsubishi Xpander is one very popular compact MPV and has been so ever since it first said hello to the world in 2017. In fact, it was the bestselling model in its segment in the Philippines for 2024.
It’s hard to believe that what we currently have in our market is already eight years old, especially with all the updates that have kept it fresh throughout the years. That also means it’s already overdue for a full model change and that’s what Mitsubishi Motors has just confirmed.
The Japanese automaker announced that as part of its product rollout strategy for after 2025, a second generation Xpander will be released in the coming years.
There aren’t really any details about this but we can expect it to come powered by a hybrid powertrain just like what is already available for the Thai market. We can also expect its styling direction to be similar to what we are seeing on the Xforce subcompact crossover.

We can look forward to a lot from Mitsubishi Motors as the company is also set to unveil the next generation of the Pajero Sport (Montero Sport in our market), and the production version of the DST Concept which was revealed at last year’s Philippine International Motor Show.

Are you excited for what’s in store for us from Mitsubishi Motors, not only for the Philippines but also globally?
