The second bestselling Chinese car brand in PH is GAC

Have you noticed all the GAC vehicles on our roads? Well it does not come as a surprise that there’s so many as GAC Motor Philippines announced that they are now the second bestselling Chinese automotive brand in the country so far for 2024

According to reports from the Truck Manufacturers’ Association (TMA) and Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines, Inc. (CAMPI), the Chinese automaker sold a total of 2,511 vehicles from January to September this year, which equates to a 106% increase in sales compared to the same period last year.

The company attributes this growth to their top-selling GS3 Emzoom, M6 Pro, and M8 which have been enjoying strong sales since their respective market launches. In addition, GAC Motor Philippines’ dealership network has now grown to 29 dealerships nationwide, with a targeted 38 operational dealerships by the end of this year.

Recently, GAC Motor Philippines introduced the Emkoo Hybrid as the first electrified model in their local lineup. With the growing popularity of electrified vehicles in the country, we won’t be surprised if it further catapults the brand’s sales to a higher level.
