The latest in Philippine motoring

These are the variants and prices of the new Toyota Ativ in PH

We all know the fourth generation Toyota Vios is finally coming to the Philippines as the Ativ, and likely sitting above the third generation Vios lineup which continues to be manufactured locally.

And while we still can’t give you its specific features and specs, Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) has finally announced its variant lineup and pricing, one thing that’s sure to make potential customers excited.

So what can we expect in that regard?

Unsurprisingly, two of the three model grades for the Toyota Ativ are the previously discontinued grades of the locally-manufactured third generation Vios—the 1.3 E and 1.5 G, while new is what everyone is most excited for—the 1.5 HEV. These are priced as follows:

  • Ativ 1.3 E M/T – Php 916,000
  • Ativ 1.3 E CVT – Php 980,000
  • Ativ 1.5 G CVT – Php 1,069,000
  • Ativ 1.5 HEV CVT – Php 1,198,000

So called Premium Color options command an additional Php 15,000 on the E and G grades, or an additional Php 10,000 on the HEV.

And as you can probably tell from their names, the E and G grades will be powered by some very familiar gasoline powertrains, while the HEV will have a gasoline-hybrid powertrain. The latter is a first not only for the Vios nameplate, but also for the subcompact sedan segment as a whole in our market.

We can’t wait to tell you more, but for now, at least you now know how much it costs, what variants you’ll have to choose from, plus a general idea of what it looks like.
