Kia PH to preview EV5 at Alabang Town Center from March 13 to 15

Kia Philippines will hold its Kia Movement roadshow from March 13 to 15 at the Alabang Town Center, and there’s a special reason to head there: the automaker will preview its latest offering, the EV5 electric crossover.
First previewed at last year’s Philippine EV Summit, the automaker unveiled that the launch will take place early this year, and the automaker has revealed a few key specifications of the crossover.
Kia Philippines says that the compact crossover will have a driving range of up to 550km on a full charge, and it’s powered by an 88.1kWh battery pack. It’s not confirmed yet, but thanks to the homologation documents on the Department of Energy’s list of recognized EVs, we know that there will be a single front-mounted electric motor that produces 218 horsepower.

Apart from that, early reservations for the EV5 will begin on March 13, and there are other discounts for the Carnival SX diesel at Php 270,000 off, and Php 50,000 to Php 100,000 off for the Sorento Turbo Hybrid, with flexible financing options available for all the models in the lineup.
“The presence of the EV5 preview at Alabang Town Center marks a bold new chapter in our push toward an electrified future, building on the premium innovation established by the EV9,” said Managing Director of Kia Philippines Jay Lopez. “It reinforces our commitment to delivering stylish, purposeful, and capable electric vehicles that integrate seamlessly into the Filipino lifestyle.
