Nissan announces senior management changes, including new Nissan PH President

There are a lot of changes going on over at Nissan. It really isn’t a surprise considering what the Japanese automaker has been going through in the past few years.
Last year, the company appointed Ivan Espinosa as its new President and CEO. Now, changes are happening in the ASEAN Region, and that includes the Philippines, as announced today.
Effective April 1, 2026, current Nissan ASEAN and Thailand President Toshihiro Fujiki will be promoted as Corporate Executive for Global Aftersales under Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. in Japan. Taking his outgoing position will be current Nissan Philippines President and CEO Masao Tsutsumi.
Meanwhile, Tsutsumi will be replaced by Yoshinori Kanazawa who currently holds the position of Managing Director of the Nissan Importers Business Unit, ASEAN, and Managing Director of Nissan Singapore International. Replacing him will be Ayako Nakamura who currently holds the position of Deputy General Manager for Global Marketing and Sales at Nissan Motor Co., Ltd.
Changes like these seem to have been becoming more and more frequent for Nissan. If it’s for the better, then we’re all for it.
