More than 37,700 new vehicles were sold in PH in February 2026

The Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines, Inc. (CAMPI) and Truck Manufacturers Association (TMA) have announced industry sales figures for the month of February 2026.
Based on available data, total automotive sales in the country reached more than 37,700 units, higher than the previous month’s 35,053 units. Of that figure, 35,842 units were sold by CAMPI and TMA members, an increase of 6.4% compared to 33,696 units in the previous month.
The slight increase in automotive sales is attributed to available supply, with most brands being able to serve the improved demand for the month. It would be remembered that sales dropped in January, as expected, due to strong demand in December last year. Sales figures from February also show a more stable outlook, especially after a market drop in the second half of last year.
However, we can expect some changes in vehicle sales this month of March, especially with the ongoing conflict in the Middle East and consequently, the fuel crisis, which could result in an increase of electrified vehicle sales.
CAMPI and TMA members sold a total of 3,098 units of electrified vehicles, an increase of 18.7% compared to the 2,610 units sold in January, and could increase again once figures for this month are out.
As for how each automotive brand performed, Toyota Motor Philippines retains its top position with 17,954 units sold (50.09%), followed by Mitsubishi Motors Philippines with 7,358 units sold (20.5%), Suzuki Philippines with 1,610 units sold (4.5%), Nissan Philippines with 1,554 units (4.3%), and Ford Philippines with 1,335 units sold (3.7%).
