Toyota Motor PH and Lexus PH are the official mobility partners for ASEAN 2026

The 2026 ASEAN Summit is upon us, hosted by the Philippines and happening this week (May 7 to 8, 2026) in Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu. Of course, with the arrival of several heads of state and other official ASEAN country delegates, mobility is very much required.
Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) and its luxury arm Lexus Philippines have announced that they are the official mobility partner for this year’s ASEAN Summit Meetings, deploying a fleet of electrified vehicles for the use of participating countries’ delegations.
To be specific, the fleet will include the Lexus LS 500h and LM 350h, which will be used in transporting participating delegates across key locations during the ASEAN Summit, particularly in Metro Manila and Cebu, the latter being the main venue for this year’s meetings.
“By serving as the official mobility partner for ASEAN 2026, we aim to demonstrate how secure, seamless mobility can coexist with a deep commitment to nation-building and a sustainable future,” said TMP and Lexus Philippines President Masando Hashimoto.
“Through our electrified lineup, we are providing more than just transport for the region’s highest-level engagements but we are also showcasing a forward-thinking pathway to electrified elegance that prioritizes both quiet refinement and our collective responsibility toward a greener, more resilient ASEAN.”
TMP and Lexus Philippines’ participation is part of the ASEAN 2026 Corporate Citizenship Programme, which integrates private sector innovation to elevate the hosting of the 48th and 49th ASEAN Summits.
On top of the Lexus shuttles for regional leaders, TMP is also supporting the ASEAN Business Advisory Council (ASEAN-BAC) by providing shuttle van service for working members involved in hosting key events such as the ASEAN-BAC 106th Council Meeting, the ASEAN Business & Investment Summit (ABIS), and the ASEAN Business Awards (ABA).
