Honda Cars PH’s Secure Plus extends the warranty of select vehicles to 5 years

There are automakers all around the country that offer long warranties for their products, and Honda Cars Philippines has just joined that club with its Secure Plus program, which is an extended warranty program for new models.

Specifically, this included the Honda Prelude and the entire lineup of the updated CR-V that was introduced this year. This extends the vehicle’s warranty to five years at no additional cost, bringing Honda’s standard warranty conditions of three years or 100,000km(whichever comes first), to five years or 150,000km (whichever comes first).

Now, this comes with the same caveats and coverage as the standard warranty. First, to be eligible for the Secure Plus extended warranty, vehicles must follow the Periodic Maintenance Service (PMS) schedule at any authorized Honda Cars dealership.

The full program details and terms can be found within the extended warranty booklet, and current owners of the Prelude and updated CR-V who are not enrolled in this program yet are encouraged to coordinate with their dealerships regarding availability and issuance of the extended warranty booklet.

At the time of this writing, the warranty coverage is only exclusive to the Prelude and CR-V, but we’re hoping that Honda Cars Philippines extends this to the rest of its lineup in the future to further pad the value proposition of its cars.
