Porsche celebrates the premiere of Toy Story 5 with three custom 911s

Children who watched the original Toy Story back in 1995 are guaranteed to be full-grown adults now, with the release of the fifth and latest iteration of the series, Toy Story 5, nearly 21 years later in 2026.

As everyone says, these adults are guaranteed to be kids at heart. If you love the series and Porsches, the company has teamed up with Pixar once again to release three Sonderwunsch (special wishes) models ahead of the red carpet premiere of the movie. These three models, based on a 911 GT3 RS, a 911 Targa 4 GTS, and a 911 Carrera T, are linked to the respective protagonists of the movie— Buzz Lightyear, Jessie, and Woody.

The 911 GT3 RS is the perfect model to represent the Space Ranger, complete with the large fender flares and aggressive aerodynamics. It’s colored in Buzz’s iconic green and white, complete with purple and red accents tastefully spread across the car, complete with a “Space Ranger” logo at the bottom. And just like Buzz’s deployable wings, there’s a red-and-white striped pattern underneath the massive rear wing.

It features the Weissach Package and bright silver forged magnesium wheels that also sport the Space Ranger logo, alongside bespoke Goodyear tires that say “Lightyear” on the sidewalls. Other small easter eggs include the same color scheme inside, with step sills that say “TO INFINITY AND BEYOND”, Buzz’s iconic catchphrase, and special roof liner stitching.

As for the Jessie-inspired Targa 4 GTS, it sports a bespoke color called Jessie White Metallic, with the bottom finished in 944 Cobalt Blue Metallic. There’s pinstriping similar to Jessie’s outfit, yellow on the front and rear trunklid, and a red targa top to match her red hat. Even the wheels have special star-shaped center caps, resembling her sheriff’s badge.

Smaller details include a “Jessie” badge, an interior with matching colors as the exterior, black-and-white cowhide interior floor mats, small easter eggs all around the cabin, and an illuminated sill guard that says “YEE HAW!”.

Finally, there’s the Carrera T inspired by Woody. This one has a very special paint, not a wrap, that was developed to mimic the natural wear and patina characteristics of denim, with gold accents and fire red graphics with Woody’s name, and small Pixar-related stickers on the driver’s side rear window. Plus, there are custom wheels with star-shaped center caps resembling a sheriff’s badge.

This concept of wear is also taken into the interior, where the brown vintage leather appears to be worn to reference the years of play Woody had, alongside his iconic yellow-and-brown crosshatch pattern within the door cards, alongside the same cowhide pattern as the Jessie 911, and illuminated door sills that say “Ride Like the Wind”!

Now, if you’re a moneyed collector, all three of these 911s will be for sale, but there’s only one of each to be ever made. Of course, you can customize a car to look very similar to these, but there’s something special about an official collaboration, let alone one from the Sonderwunsch department of Porsche.
