GAC PH to expand with six new dealerships

GAC Philippines is not only growing its local lineup, but also its presence and reach in the Philippines as it prepares for the opening of new dealerships in various cities across Luzon and Mindanao.

The Chinese automaker held a dealership signing ceremony with six dealer partners for the establishment of six new dealerships, at the sidelines of the launch of the GAC GN6, E8 HEV, and GN8 PHEV at the Makati Shangri-La, Manila on July 29, 2026.

The new dealerships will be located in Alabang, Bacoor, Las Piñas, Marikina, Subic, and Zamboanga. Not only will the brand be able to reach more customers, this move will also bring the local GAC dealership network to over 30 dealerships.

The rapid expansion of our dealer network reflects our deep commitment to the Philippine market and our strong confidence in its growth,” said GAC Philippines General Manager Calvin Cheng. “By partnering with experienced automotive groups across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, we are building a robust retail network focused on long-term, mutual success and ensuring our customers receive exceptional support at every touchpoint.”

With various expansions happening within GAC Philippines throughout the past few months, this is certainly welcome news, especially with its turbulent history locally. The brand first came into our market in 2018 under Legado Motors, then transitioned to the now defunct Astara Philippines in 2024. It now operates under GAC International Philippines since early this year.
