Toyota and Lexus PH extend role as mobility partner of 49th ASEAN Summit

Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP), and concurrently Lexus Philippines, are expanding their role as the Official Mobility Partner of the ASEAN National Organizing Council (NOC).
From the 48th ASEAN Summit which was held in Cebu last May, the Japanese automakers will also be providing transportation to delegates at the upcoming 49th ASEAN Summit in Metro Manila this coming November 2026.
TMP, through Lexus Philippines, will be transporting visiting heads of states, official delegates, and dialogue partner representatives across Metro Manila with a fleet of Lexus LS 500h and Lexus LM 350h, provided under the arrangement on loan, and will be returned upon the completion of the ASEAN 2026 hosting period.

The extended collaboration formalized through the signing of a supplemental agreement TMP President Masando Hashimoto and NOC Director-General for Operations Undersecretary Ma. Hellen De La Vega, alongside key officials from the Presidential Communications Office and Lexus Philippines.
“We [at Toyota] view ASEAN as one strategic region. In Cebu last May, I was reminded of the remarkable potential of the 11 ASEAN Member States, and I was left with an even stronger conviction that the Philippines has exceptional promise as a regional leader,” said TMP President Masando Hashimoto. “Under the theme ‘Navigating Our Future, Together,’ TMP is privileged to reinforce its support for this historic hosting. We are committed to providing seamless, dignified, and greener mobility that fosters regional collaboration and sustainable progress,” he added.
