ACMobility expands EV charging station network in Visayas

Finding ways to charge electric vehicles in the Visayas region will not be difficult for owners thanks to ACMobility which is continuously expanding its charging station network there.

The company, a subsidiary of the Ayala Corporation, currently operates a total of 16 charging stations in the island province of Cebu. It also aims to have 35 locations across Visayas by the end of the year.

Charging points are already up and running at Ayala Center Cebu, Il Corso, and even remote island locations such as Bantayan and Camotes islands. More locations are expected soon in partnership with Ayala Malls, GlobalStar, Continuum Mobility Solutions, Prince Stores, City Time Square, and Club Filipino Cebu.

EV charging rates in the Visayas start at Php 33.50 per kWh for AC charging and Php 38.00 per kWh for DC charging. Just like in Metro Manila, payments can be made via the Evro smartphone app.

ACMobility’s Philippine EV Spine initiative is pivotal in shaping the future of electric mobility across the country,” said ACMobility Head of Mobility Infrastructure Carla Buencamino. “We’re laying the foundation for a strong nationwide network of EV charging stations, ensuring that every Filipino has easy access to the infrastructure needed to embrace electric vehicles with confidence and convenience.”
