ACMobility turns over new BYD emergency response vehicles to Ayala Foundation

The Ayala Corporation’s mobility arm, ACMobility, and BYD Philippines (not to be confused with ACMobility’s BYD Cars Philippines), has turned over to the Ayala Foundation, also part of the Ayala Group of Companies, a fleet of BYD vehicles.
The new fleet consists of three BYD Shark 6 DMO pickup trucks and one BYD Sealion 6 DM-i crossover. Ayala Foundation will be utilizing them as rescue and response vehicles in times of disaster, and are all equipped with special emergency gear to enable them to navigate freely when responding to urgent emergency situations.

In fact, fresh from their turnover held on July 9, 2025, these vehicles were already used to deliver food packs and Go Bags, prepared by Ayala Foundation and Ayala Group volunteers, to flood-affected communities in Metro Manila, in the aftermath of recent typhoons and monsoon rains.

The vehicles can also be used to provide power through their V2L feature, as recently demonstrated by the BYD La Union dealership, which provided electricity to charge mobile devices after electricity service was cut-off by the recent storm, until it was restored.

“These vehicles are tools for hope, equipped to support fast mobilization during emergencies and help deliver aid, equipment, and relief where they’re needed most. With advanced electric technology and modern rescue features, they’re built to serve communities in times of greatest need,” said ACMobility CEO Jaime Alfonso Zobel de Ayala.
