All is set for the 2025 season of the Toyota Gazoo Racing Philippine Cup
The year may have just started but Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) and its motorsports division Toyota Gazoo Racing (TGR) Philippines are already gearing up for this year’s season of the Philippine Cup.
Formerly known as the TGR Vios Cup, the annual motorsports event is the largest one-make race (OMR) series in the country, utilizing the Toyota Vios, the best-selling car nameplate in our market.
In previous years, the season usually starts by mid-year. For its 11th season though, we’ll see the first leg happening as early as March. The exact dates of each leg of this year’s season are as follows:
- Race Weekend 1 – March 20-22
- Race Weekend 2 – May 16-18
- Race Weekend 3 – August 7-9
TMP and TGR Philippines have not yet announced the exact details of each leg, such as the type of races and activities, but we can expect it to be similar, if not the same as in recent years.
The venue will also likely be the same as it has been—the Clark International Speedway in Clark Freeport Zone, Pampanga, and entry will be free for all visitors.
Whatever happens in this year’s TGR Philippine Cup, we’re surely excited and we hope you are too. Watch this space as we’ll update you once we get more details.
