BIMS 2025 | The heavily-revised Hyundai Creta is closer to PH

Over a year ago, Hyundai revealed a heavily-revised version of the Creta subcompact crossover in the Indian market. And while we don’t source it from the Land of Smiles, it has arrived over there making it closer to our market, launched at the 46th Bangkok International Motor Show (BIMS).
Its exterior is almost a complete departure from the one we currently get, with its new front fascia and rear end, following the Korean automaker’s Sensuous Sportiness design philosophy.

The front fascia is more rugged, more squared-out, and gets an LED light bar like other Hyundai models. The grille is larger and the front bumper receives an overrider-like design. The rear loses the mishmash look of the taillights in favor of a full-width light bar.

Thailand also gets the N-Line package as standard, adding in 18-inch two-tone alloy wheels with N center caps, N-Line badging all around, a larger tailgate spoiler, and a two-tone exterior with blacked-out roof and pillars.

Inside, the dashboard has been completely overhauled as well. There’s a dual 10.25-inch screen setup for the infotainment and driver’s instrument cluster, plus an eight-speaker Bose premium audio system.

Under the hood of this new Hyundai Creta is still the same powertrain. That’s a 1.5-liter MPi Smartstream G engine that makes 115 horsepower and 144 Nm of torque, mated to an Intelligent Variable Transmission (IVT).
Now the question is, when will Hyundai Motor Philippines launch this new Hyundai Creta? Based on what we saw, there is a lot to look forward to.
