BMW PH’s 2025 sales surpass previous year’s sales with 843 units sold

Despite the government issues and scandals that have resulted in a decline in luxury car sales in the country, BMW Philippines, under the distributorship of SMC Asia Cars Distributors Corporation, still achieved a sales milestone.
The company has already been able to surpass its 2024 sales as of November 2025, with 843 units sold from January 2025. In comparison, the German automaker sold 815 units from January to December 2024.
The previous quarter has also been good for the German automaker, with almost 300 vehicles sold in the past three months. Those may seem like small numbers in comparison to the sales figures of mainstream automotive brands, but such numbers are still a feat for luxury brands, especially in a developing market just like ours.
The company also attributes its good performance to its consecutive new model launches and adaption of electrified vehicles. In fact, units of the 3 Series compact executive sedan, X1 subcompact crossover, and X3 compact plug-in hybrid crossover (PHEV) have all been spoken for until the end of the year.
“To secure this record early in December is a phenomenal achievement for our team, and we would like to express our sincere gratitude for the unwavering support and trust of our customers,” said SMC Asia Cars Distributors Corporation President Jacob Ang. “The immediate sell-out of models like the X3 PHEV confirms that our Power of Choice strategy—offering the best of both worlds in performance and efficiency—is perfectly aligned with the market.”
