BMW Philippines, under the distributorship of SMC Asia Cars Distributors, Inc. is starting its 2025 by expanding its lineup with a new electrified variant for one of its longest-running nameplates—the X5.

While it may seem like any other X5, it’s actually the xDrive50e which is a plug-in hybrid, as evidenced by the presence of a charging door on the front fender.

The charging door is the most obvious difference from the standard X5.
