Changan PH updates pricing, mostly increased

Changan Motor Philippines, Inc. (CMPI) has announced today its updated pricing for its local lineup. The reason behind the price update was not made known as the company simply emailed a list of the price changes which mostly increased.

The increase in pricing ranges from as low as Php 80,000 up to Php 175,000 for the Alsvin, CS35 Plus, and CS75 Plus. See the full updated list of pricing for Changan vehicles below:

Alsvin

  • 1.4 M/T: Php 629,000 (from Php 539,000)
  • 1.5 A/T: Php 689,000 (from Php 599,000)
  • 1.5 Platinum A/T: Php 739,000 (from Php 639,000)

CS35 Plus

  • 1.4 A/T: Php 1,169,000 (from Php 999,000)

CS75 Plus

  • 1.5 A/T: Php 1,379,000 (from Php 1,299,000)

CS95

  • 2.0 A/T: Php 2,178,000 (no increase)

EADO EV460

  • EV: Php 1,828,000 (previously unavailable)

It is good to note that while most of the lineup saw a price increase, the brand’s flagship CS95 mid-size crossover’s SRP remains the same with no price increase. Meanwhile, pricing for the by-order only EADO EV460 fully-electric vehicle is now available. You previously had to contact a Changan dealership to know how much purchasing the said full EV would cost you. This also means it joins the Chery Arrizo 5e in the sub-Php 2,000,000 electric vehicle price bracket in the country.

Will the increase in prices locally deter you from purchasing a brand-new Changan and choose other rivals or are you still going for it?
