Chery Auto PH hits record sales in April 2022
Chery Auto Philippines has many reasons to celebrate after reaching yet another sales milestone since the brand was relaunched in the country, under the helm of United Asia Automotive Group, Inc. (UAAGI), just four months before the Philippines went into a hard lockdown due to the coronavirus pandemic in March 2020.
“We, at Chery Auto Philippines, make sure that we offer the right models and services at the right price,” said UAAGI President Erroll Dueñas. “People need fully equipped yet affordable mobility and we have the right mix of value-packed Tiggo models with luxury, comfort, and safety features to suit any requirement or budget,” Dueñas added.
Sales of Chery Auto Philippines surged more than double in April this year compared to the same month last year. The brand garnered a 143% increase and a best-ever monthly figure for the brand. The company attributes its sales success to much better consumer brand awareness and buoyed by growing market confidence in an improving pandemic climate.
Other factors are the brand’s industry-leading warranty and PMS program, Chery Premium Preserv, which features an industry-leading 10-year or 1 million-km engine warranty, a 5-year general warranty (7 years for the new Tiggo 8 Pro), and a free full preventive maintenance service (PMS) for 3 years.
In addition, Chery Auto Philippines also announced that its initial inventory for its latest and flagship model, the Tiggo 8 Pro midsize crossover has been completely sold out, just two months after it was introduced during the 2022 Manila International Auto Show (MIAS).
“Our pre-selling activities (for the Tiggo 8 Pro) were also received very well by the market and we are now proud to announce that our whole initial inventory of Tiggo 8 Pro models has been sold out. Needless to say, we expect even higher growth in the coming months as new stocks of our flagship model arrive,” said Dueñas.
