Chery Auto PH January 2021 Sales Exceed Target
Chery Auto Philippines has ended the first month of the year with some great news.
Bucking the usual trend for post-Christmas sales to take a downturn, Chery Auto Philippines posted the exact opposite for the first month of the year by delivering 152 brand-new units to their owners from an initial target of 121 units.
The positive result came from a combination of factors led by the growing awareness of the upstart new brand and the extraordinary value from its feature-packed crossovers. Concerns of consumers regarding reliability and after-sales repair and maintenance issues are effectively addressed by Chery Auto Philippines’ industry-leading warranty and PMS programs, which boasts an industry-leading 10-year/1 million-km engine warranty, a 5-year general warranty, 3-year roadside assistance and a free full preventive maintenance service (PMS) for 3 years.
The figures reflect the strong demand for the company’s four-model lineup of crossovers. Leading the charge are the subcompact Tiggo 2 followed by the Tiggo 5x, with the flagship Tiggo 8 7-seater midsize SUV taking a strong third ranking.
The company’s latest model, the Tiggo 7 PRO compact crossover was just launched last January 27, but already had 2 deliveries before the month ended and continues to receive strong orders and inquiries and is expected to post substantial sales in the coming months.
According to Chery Auto PH, other factors that contributed to the strong sales are the financing packages given support by Chery’s bank partners, the availability of Chery’s EC Mobile Home Service, and the fast-growing nationwide network of Chery dealers.
“The ongoing pandemic is proving very challenging for the industry in general, but especially for a brand that was launched just four months before the whole country was put on community quarantine in March last year,” declared Chery Auto Philippines president Rommel Sytin. “But mobility is now more important than ever and people are really taking a long, hard look at products that give maximum value for their hard-earned money,” Sytin added.
