Chery Auto PH launches new Tiggo 2 Pro with Php 818K introductory price
Chery Auto Philippines has unveiled another addition to its Tiggo crossover lineup. Dubbed the Tiggo 2 Pro, it is essentially the updated version of the Tiggo 2 subcompact crossover and will be offered alongside the current model as an additional variant.

The 2022 Chery Tiggo 2 Pro features an updated look in and out, most obvious is the heavily revised front fascia which joins the larger Chery Tiggo 7 Pro compact crossover in wearing the brand’s latest design language.
Front and center is Chery’s new signature Diamond Galaxy front grille. It also features new split headlights composed of LED daytime running lights and separate projector halogen headlights. The side profile remains exactly the same as the standard Tiggo 2, including its 16-inch two-tone alloy wheel design. The only visible changes on the side are the new side mirrors and additional chrome garnish below the windows. Over at the back, the LED combination taillights get smoked lenses. It also features a new bumper design with faux exhausts and a rear fog light in the center. Lastly, the previously chrome garnish connecting the taillights is now finished in black.
Inside, the 2022 Chery Tiggo 2 Pro also gets a handful of changes. First, it gets an edgier design with new plastic panels and climate vents. It also features a new leather-wrapped flat-bottom steering wheel, analog instrument cluster, and larger 9-inch infotainment system with Apple CarPlay connectivity, center console, and the seats are wrapped in black leather with fabric accents. It also now comes with push button start.
Under the hood of the 2022 Chery Tiggo 2 Pro is still the same 1.5-liter naturally-aspirated inline-4 cylinder petrol engine. It does get increased output figures of 107 horsepower (+2 hp) and 140 Nm of torque (+5 Nm). It also ditches the standard Tiggo 2’s 4-speed automatic transmission for a continuously variable transmission or CVT with 9 simulated gears. Chery says that this should improve overall driving performance and fuel economy.
In terms of safety, standard on the Chery Tiggo 2 Pro are Dual Front Airbags, Anti-lock Braking System, Electronic Stability Program, Hill Descent Control, Reverse Camera, Rear Parking Sensors, and ISOFIX Childseat Anchors.
In addition, Chery Tiggo 2 Pro buyers will be able to take advantage of Chery’s Premium Preserv (10-5-3-3 aftersales). This means all Chery Tiggo 2 Pro units come with the industry exclusive 10 year/1-million kilometer powertrain warranty, 5-year or 150,000 km general vehicle warranty, 3-year free preventive maintenance service, and 3-year free roadside assistance.
The 2022 Chery Tiggo 2 Pro is now available at all Chery Auto dealerships around the country with an introductory price of Php 818,000. For those already looking to purchase one, this offer is available until December 31, 2021.
