Chery Philippines models now to come standard with N95 cabin filters

The second car company in the country to make the safety feature standard in its vehicles.

Chery Auto Philippines announced a few days ago that their vehicles will come standard with N95 cabin air filters that are capable of filtering airborne particles that measure 0.3 microns or higher.

Chery is the second carmaker in the country to do such action after Geely who also announced that their Coolray models will be standard with the new cabin air filters.

The new air filtration system will come standard on the Tiggo 5X, Tiggo 7, and Tiggo 8 crossovers. The filters are made up of different layers that can filter dust particles and outdoor pollution such as from diesel powered vehicles, and harmful viruses and bacteria. Other than that, the filters can also dehydrate and eliminate moisture from inside the vehicle’s cabin which should reduce the lifespan of any harmful viruses or bacteria.

Chery units that were exported after February 2020 will already arrive in the country with the filter installed. Units that were already delivered to dealers will be fitted with the filters. If you already own a Chery vehicle, you can also have the filter installed. Just bring your Chery vehicle to the dealership on your servicing schedule and they can install the filter for free.
