Chevrolet PH is launching the all-new Trailblazer soon, reveals some features
If you follow most local automotive media outlets in the country, you’ve already probably seen and read the news that Chevrolet Philippines will be launching the all-new Trailblazer very soon, on October 24, 2021 to be exact.
The thing is, the upcoming Trailblazer is no longer the pick-up based SUV we all know of. Instead, it is now a compact crossover, set to go against the likes of the Ford Territory, Honda CR-V, and many others. This is a huge change and Chevrolet Philippines is so excited that they already revealed some features.
Chevrolet Philippines says that the new Trailblazer continues the SUV heritage of the nameplate, but in a technology-loaded package that caters to the demands of our current connected lifestyles. Its head turning appearance which is reminiscent of the Camaro, sporty stance, and flexible yet comfortable interior, all combine to create an appealing compact crossover that will exceed the expectations of even the most discerning car buyers in the Philippines.
First, the 2022 Chevrolet Trailblazer will be available in two variants, the LT and Premier. Both will be powered by a 1.3-liter turbocharged petrol engine paired to a CVT. No output figures were given but a quick research shows that this powertrain produces 162 horsepower and 240 Nm of torque.
It will also come equipped with an 8-inch MyLink touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. The company also says that it will come equipped with Enhanced Stability Control and Driver Assistance Systems, the latter meaning the 2022 Trailblazer could come with stuff like blindspot monitoring, adaptive cruise control, and autonomous emergency braking, just to name a few.
Those who plan on purchasing the 2022 Chevrolet Trailblazer will be able to take advantage of a five-year warranty, automatic enrollment to the 24/7 Chevrolet Roadside Assistance for three (3) years, and immediate access to the Chevy Hotline for convenient vehicle service and ownership needs.
The full specifications and prices of both the 2022 Trailblazer LT and Premier will be shared before what the company describes as a groundbreaking model arrives at local Chevrolet dealerships this month.
