Chevrolet PH Launches All-New Tracker with Php 1.112M Introductory Price
It has definitely been quite a while since Chevrolet Philippines held a launch event for a brand new model. Its last introduction was some updates to the Trax subcompact crossover. Finally, after that rather long wait, there is a new subcompact crossover SUV in the country wearing the bowtie badge. Meet the all-new Chevrolet Tracker.
The Covenant Car Company, Inc. (TCCCI) introduced earlier today the latest model to join the Chevrolet Philippines lineup. The Tracker will compete with the likes of the Kia Seltos, MG ZS, Ford EcoSport, and Geely Coolray just to name a few. It is manufactured by SAIC Motor of China, the same company behind Volkswagen Philippines’ local lineup, Maxus, the Chevrolet Sail, and MG which is also distributed locally by TCCCI.
The all-new Chevrolet Tracker is available in two variants: 1.0 LS and 1.0 LT Redline. Outside, the Tracker features a more modern exterior design, fit for its segment which is growing in popularity. Standard features include automatic projector headlights, LED daytime running lights, 17-inch alloy wheels, power-folding side mirrors, rear spoiler, leather-wrapped steering wheel, leather seating, and an 8-inch MyLink infotainment system with Apple CarPlay. The 1.0 LS also features a jet black and captain blue interior color scheme.
The 1.0 LT Redline variant gives you additional features such as LED headlights and taillights, panoramic sunroof, multi-color driver info center, push button start, and automatic climate control. It also gets black and red accents on the exterior to set it apart from the 1.0 LS.
Under the hood, the Tracker is powered by a single engine option. That is a 1.0-liter turbocharged inline-3 cylinder petrol engine that produces a healthy 116 hp and 175 Nm of torque. It is paired to a 6-speed automatic transmission.
In terms of safety, the Tracker gets Dual Front and Side Airbags, Anti-lock Braking System, Electronic Stability Control, Tire Pressure Monitoring System, Rear Park Assist, and a wide-angle reverse camera.
Pricing for the all-new Chevrolet Tracker starts at Php 1,142,888 for the entry-level 1.0 LS variant. The 1.0 LT Redline variant is priced at Php 1,242,888. Chevrolet Philippines is also offering a Php 30,000 off the Tracker’s SRP until September 30.
The Chevrolet Tracker is now available in all Chevrolet dealerships nationwide.
