Could BMW PH launch the 750e xDrive PHEV soon?

BMW Philippines is now shifting its focus from adding new fully electric vehicles as the lineup is essentially complete from top to bottom (from the iX1 to the range-topping i7), and is now adding plug-in hybrids, as we’ve seen with the introduction of the X5 PHEV and X3 PHEV recently.
However according to an LTO classification document, it seems that it could be introducing a new 7-Series variant in the 750e xDrive, as the vehicle has just passed through the LTO documentation very recently.
Official figures from BMW state that the combined system output from the 3.0-liter straight-six and electric motor is up to 490 horsepower and 700Nm of torque (with the temporary boost), and should be capable of accelerating up to 100km/h from a standstill in 4.8 seconds, thanks to the presence of the xDrive all-wheel drive system.

The 18.7kWh battery supports up to 7.4kW of charging speed, and according to the LTO document, will take 3 to 4 hours to fully charge, and it also happens to ride on a staggered set of 20-inch wheels (255/45 front, 285/40 rear).
Here’s the kicker: BMW Philippines (under RSA Motors) is known to take indent orders, especially for higher-end vehicles like these, and we actually spotted one driving around Makati a few weeks back, two days after the LTO classification document was filed (April 30).
This could be the very same car that passed through the inspection, or an indent order fulfilled by the distributor.
Regardless, if BMW Philippines does decide to launch this vehicle soon, it should offer a sweet middle ground in the 7-Series family, sitting between the gas-powered 735i and the full-electric i7 xDrive60.
