Ecooter PH to launch two new more affordable models
Ecooter Philippines announced that they will be adding two new electric scooter models to their lineup, the ET1 and EH1. The announcement was posted on their official Facebook page and is very timely as the demand for personal two-wheeled transportation is expected to rise due to safety measures caused by the COVID-19 global pandemic.
In terms of looks, the Ecooter ET1 is similar to the E1 while the EH1 is similar to the E2. Both new models get minor aesthetic upgrades to keep them fresh. Differences are more obvious in the EH1 which appears to have a bulkier side panel underneath the saddle. The headlight and turn signals are now also all in one cluster.
Based on the images, both e-scooters will benefit from full LED lighting. To differentiate the ET1 from the EH1, the former gets a pentagon-shaped headlight cluster while the latter gets a rectangle-like cluster.
The ET1 comes with a 1.5 kW electric motor with a 72-volt 20 Ah lead-acid battery. It has a range of approximately up to 85 km and a top speed of 60 kph.
The EH1 on the other hand comes with a more powerful 2.5 kW electric motor with a 60-volt 32 Ah lead-acid battery. Maximum torque is rated at 120 Nm. It has a range of approximately up to 100 km and a top speed of 70 kph.
These new models will be launched with more affordable prices. The ET1 will be sold for Php 55,000 while the EH1 will be sold for Php 68,000. Ecooter is manufactured in China by Da Yang Motors. Its main manufacturing plant is located in Luoyang, Henan, China. As for other important specifications, we’ll post more once the information becomes available.
