Expect these from Toyota’s Japan Mobility Show 2025 showcase

It seems that Toyota has a LOT of surprises up its sleeve for the upcoming Japan Mobility Show 2025. Based on its brand new teaser site, the Toyota family of brands will be showing off at least one concept car per brand at the upcoming major autoshow later this month.

Starting off with Toyota, the brand has a brand new slogan of “To You. Toyota”. There’s not much in terms of information about this, other than several new photos of its personal mobility vehicles (including the Kayoibako Concept) and the all-new Corolla Concept, which looks similar to its more recent crossover concepts.

Next, it’s followed by Lexus. This is a more radical concept, as this six-wheeled minivan concept apparently looks to be the new Lexus LS Concept. It’s a radical re-imagning of what the flagship luxury sedan is supposed to be, with a heavy focus on luxury spaces for three rows.

Then, the zenith of the Toyota family, the Century brand, will be debuting a coupe concept. Details are very light, but with the tagline of “One of One”, the brand looks to be aiming this new model up against the likes of the ultra-exclusive GTs from Rolls-Royce and Bentley.

Next, Daihatsu will be reviving the tiny Midget utility pickup truck with its Midget X concept car, which looks to be a modern electric reinterpretation of the iconic vehicle.

Finally, for those expecting the news about the upcoming GR model, well, nothing was released other than a sound bite of the car’s V8 engine in comparison with the smooth inline-six of the 2000GT and the iconic V10 of the Lexus LFA.

What is new is that there is a countdown, which shows that Toyota’s new halo model won’t be released or previewed at the Japan Mobility Show, since 52 days from now is December 3, 2025.

Regardless, we will be at the show, and we will be with Toyota, so you can expect live updates from us.
