Already enjoying success in markets such as Thailand, India, South Africa, and Vietnam, Ford Mobile Service is essentially a service center on wheels, allowing owners of Ford vehicles to have their vehicles serviced without having to visit their preferred dealership or service center.
Ford Mobile Service makes use of a modified Ford Ranger, dubbed as the Mobile Service Vehicle (MSV), that is equipped with advanced diagnostic systems, and compartments packed with Ford Genuine Parts and specialized tools. This is then driven by trained technicians to the customer’s location which can include their residence.
Services provided by the MSV include multi-point inspections; oil changes; tire rotation; brake services; checking, boosting, and replacement of batteries; recall repairs; vehicle software updates; and replacement of parts such as filters, lights, fluids, and wipers.
