Ford PH brings Everest and Ranger Sport Special Edition variants to PH
The Everest and Ranger SUV and pickup truck siblings are the two best-selling models of the Ford Philippines.
In a bid to further expand its market and even meet the wants of their customers, the American automaker has introduced new Sport Special Edition (SE) variants of the two models at the 24th Henry Ford Awards.

The Everest Sport SE was first introduced a few months ago in neighboring Thailand and is priced at Php 2,194,000 for our market.
It’s easy to distinguish from the regular Sport thanks to its matte black finish for the roof, pillars, and spoiler; while the blacked-out 20-inch alloy wheels get a single red spoke accent.

Color choices for this are Aluminum Metallic and Snowflake White Pearl, with the latter commanding a Php 15,000 premium.

Meanwhile, the Ranger Sport SE is a Philippine market-exclusive and is available with both 4×2 and 4×4 drivetrains, priced at Php 1,529,000 and Php 1,649,000, respectively.

It’s a bit more subtle in what it gets. Most obvious is a sports bar on the outside, while the interior gets retractable cupholders on the dashboard which could previously only be had on the Wildtrak variants and Ranger Raptor.

Mechanically, both the Everest and Ranger Sport SE remain powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder EcoBlue single turbo diesel engine that produces 170 horsepower and 405 Nm of torque, mated to a six-speed automatic transmission.
As of this writing, we’re not yet sure if these are limited run variants or will be here to stay. Regardless, do you think the little upgrades are compelling enough for fans of these two popular Ford vehicles?
