Ford PH’s PK Umashankar to Lead Customer Service for Ford’s International Markets Group
Ford Motor Company today announced that PK Umashankar (‘Uma’) has been appointed director of the Ford’s Customer Service Division in its International Markets Group (IMG), effective April 1.
In this regional role, Umashankar will have overall responsibility for Ford’s customer service and after-sales initiatives across the diverse and geographically widespread markets that comprise the company’s IMG region. He will relocate to Bangkok, Thailand and report directly to Dianne Craig, president of Ford’s International Markets Group.
“Uma has been instrumental in leading our business in the Philippines amid a very challenging time. Under his leadership, customers’ choices in the Ford showroom expanded with the successful launches of the Everest Sport, F-150, and all-new Ford Territory in 2020. His hands-on approach also allowed customers to enjoy improved parts availability and enhanced ownership experience supported by our dealer partners,” said Yukontorn ‘Vickie’ Wisadkosin, president, Ford ASEAN.
There is no news yet as to who will be taking Uma’s role as managing director of Ford Philippines. This will be announced at a later date.
