The Ford Ranger Raptor V6 and Wildtrak Special Editions are both limited to 100 units only

Ford Philippines seems to be into making limited special edition variants of its lineup lately. A few months ago, they introduced the Everest Sport Special Edition and Ranger Sport Special Edition. Now, there’s more.
At the recently concluded Auto Focus Pre-Christmas Test Drive Festival, the American automaker introduced the new Ranger Raptor V6 Special Edition, and the Ranger Wildtrak Special Edition. So, what exactly makes them special?

Starting with the former, the Ranger Raptor V6 Special Edition gets matte black decals on its rear doors and bed section, along with a sports bar from the Ranger Wildtrak, also finished in matte black. This one is priced at Php 2,813,000, or just Php 14,000 more than the regular Ranger Raptor V6 (Php 2,799,000).

Meanwhile, the latter gets a little bit more. Available with either 4×2 or 4×4 drivetrains, the Wildtrak Special Edition also gets matte black decals, this time on the lower part of the doors. In addition to that are bead lock-style wheels. The Ranger Wildtrak Special Edition is priced at Php 1,984,000 for the 4×2, and Php 2,375,000 for the 4×4, an increase of Php 35,000 compared to their standard versions.

Other than those changes, these remain mechanically unchanged with the Ranger Raptor V6 Special Edition still powered by a 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 making 397 horsepower and 583Nm of torque, the Ranger Wildtrak 4×4 Special Edition by a 2.0-liter bi-turbo diesel engine making 210 horsepower and 500Nm, and the Ranger Wildtrak 4×2 Special Edition by a 2.0-liter turbodiesel making 170 horsepower and 405Nm.
As you’ve probably already seen on the title of this article, both the Ford Ranger Raptor V6 Special Edition and Ford Ranger Wildtrak Special Edition are limited to just 100 units each so if you plan on getting one, be sure to visit your nearest or preferred Ford dealership as soon as possible.
