The Ford Ranger XL+ 4×4 is the 11th Ranger variant in PH

Ford just can’t run out of variants for their top-selling Ranger midsize pickup truck. The blue oval has introduced yet another addition, its 11th, and this time at the lower end of the lineup.
Meet the Ranger XL+ 4×4 M/T which is a somewhat upgraded version of the entry-level Ranger XL 4×4 M/T, featuring equipment that were originally available on higher variants, for a slight price increase of Php 10,000, bringing its suggested retail price to Php 1,279,000.
So what do you get for that amount? Now included is a bedliner, side steps, and retractable cupholders. Colors? Absolute Black, Arctic White, and Aluminum Metallic.
The XL+ is exclusively available with a 4×4 drivetrain, matched with the 2.0-liter EcoBlue four-cylinder turbodiesel from all variants (except the Wildtrak 4×4). It still produces 170 horsepower and 405 Nm of torque, and is mated to a six-speed manual transmission.
Do you think the small price difference is worth the additional upgrades?
