Ford Territory Breaches 10K Sales Milestone in PH
Despite its numerous bashers on social media, the Ford Territory seems to remain a favorite among compact crossover SUV buyers as it once again breaches another sales milestone.
After just two years on the market, Ford Philippines has already sold over 10,000 units of its compact crossover offering. They’ve sold a total of 10,758 units to be exact and two of them are actually in the AutoPH fleet but that’s a whole different story.
Just recently, the Ford Territory also saw its highest monthly sales ever in the Philippines with 904 units sold in March this year. That’s an increase of 51% over the same month last year. Not only that, the Territory has also cornered 63% market share of the compact crossover segment, also in March, making it the top-selling model in the segment locally.
“We are off to a great start this year as we see the growing popularity of our Ford vehicle lineup among our customers, particularly the Ford Territory which continues to be one of the best-selling SUVs in the market today,” says Mike Breen, managing director, Ford Philippines. “With the easing of travel restrictions and increased demand for safe mobility, we are optimistic that we will maintain the momentum in the next quarter together with our Ford dealers nationwide.”
The Ford Territory surely is a fast growing nameplate. The model reached its 5000th unit sales milestone in June last year, and its 8000th unit sales milestone back in November. Before we know it, they’ll be reaching their 20,000th unit milestone. Good job, Ford!
