Ford Territory to be launched on August 14, 2020

Ford PH’s third virtual launch.

The Ford Territory was announced to be coming to Philippine shores back in July. Now, Ford Philippines has already announced an official launch date. The Ford Territory will be launched on August 14, 2020. The Territory’s launch will mark the company’s third virtual launch in the country due to the COVID-19 pandemic, after the Ford Everest Sport and the Ford F-150.

The all-new Ford Territory is aimed at young professionals and small families with its segment-leading features and capabilities, offered at a competitive price point. This will also be the second model in Ford’s local lineup to be sourced from China after the EcoSport subcompact SUV.

The Territory once launched will be available in two variants: the Trend and Titanium. It also looks like it will be very competitive in terms of tech features. It will come equipped with a 360-degree camera, Adaptive Cruise Control, Active Park Assist or self parking  with parallel and segment-first perpendicular parking function, leather power adjust seats with cooling function, a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system with multi-view function, and wireless charging. The all-new Ford Territory also comes equipped with a panoramic moonroof, as well as 18-inch alloy wheels.

The Philippines is the first market in Ford’s International Market Group (IMG), composed of nearly 100 markets around the world, to offer the all-new Ford Territory. Its upcoming launch will allow Ford to reinforce its presence in the small and mini-SUV segments in the country.
