GAC Motor PH bags awards at international conference
Out of Astara Philippines’ current portfolio, GAC Motor Philippines is arguably the strongest, having launched multiple vehicles that have been well received by the public, such as the Empow, GS3 Emzoom, and the M8.
At a recent 2025 GAC International Partner Conference, the local arm was recognized for its performance with back-to-back Gold Awards for Outstanding Distributor of the Year 2024 and Outstanding Sales Department of 2024.
The Philippines was a key market for the brand, with 3,207 units moved in 2024, marking a 65% year-on-year growth, alongside one of the fastest recorded dealership growth in the global GAC network in two years, from six dealerships in 2022 to 32 dealerships in 2024.
Expect GAC aftersales to improve in the coming months as GAC Motor International is rolling out its GAC Sales and Service Way training program, too.
