GAC Motor PH introduces GN8 Master’s Edition for Php 2.958M
Initially announced during GAC Motor Philippines’ virtual media roundtable meeting last August 18, 2021, the GN8 Master’s Edition has officially been added to the executive minivan’s lineup.
The GAC GN8 was locally introduced in 2018. The new Master’s Edition which is equipped with a new body kit to make it look more muscular and elegant-looking, as well as some additional niceties to make it even more premium.
On the outside, GAC gives the Master’s Edition a bolder look thanks to its massive vertical grille design finished in silver. In addition, the front fascia is also accented by a new set of fog lights and a silver skid plate beneath. The side profile is embellished with a side skirt in black and silver finish. Its rear also features a large bumper with new faux dual exhaust pipe finishers.
Inside, the GN8 Master’s Edition still comes with seating for seven passengers. The second row captain seats offer heating, ventilation, and massage functions as well as butterfly headrests similar to those in airplanes. In addition to that, the interior of the GN8 Master’s Edition features a 360-degree Serene Sanctuary, with a 32-color LED adjustable ambient lighting, panoramic sunroof, premium upholstery, and a 10-inch TFT screen to ensure full access to its functions. This executive minivan is well-ventilated with a three-zone automatic air conditioner and an air purification system. The infotainment system of the GN8 Master’s Edition is bluetooth and Apple CarPlay compatible and is also paired to a new Harman Kardon audio system.
Under the hood, the 2021 GN8 Master’s Edition is still powered by the same Euro 5-compliant 2.0-liter turbocharged petrol engine that produces 199 horsepower and 320 Nm of torque, paired to an Aisin 6-speed automatic transmission.
In terms of safety, the GN8 Master’s Edition is equipped with parking sensors, a 180-degree backup camera system, an anti-lock braking system (ABS) with electronic brake-force distribution (EBD), stability control system, three-point seat belts, seatbelt warning, anti-collision sensor, airbags, and child safety locks.
The 2021 GAC GN8 Master’s Edition is now available at an SRP of Php 2,958,000.
