GAC Motor PH to award GA4 sedan to Wishcovery Originals grand winner
As a way to promote and support the rising OPM artists, GAC Motor Philippines has partnered with one of the top radio stations in the country, Wish FM 107.5, in searching for a singer-songwriter artist who will have a chance to win the Wishcovery Originals.
Wish FM’s produced singing-songwriting competition Wishcovery Originals will feature seven promising music-makers in the OPM industry. Among the contestants who reached the grand finals are alt-folk up-and-comer Peniel Roxas; rock troupe From Outtakes; acoustic outfit White Caps; pop-rock band PIP; pop-R&B singer-songwriter JC Sales; acoustic heartthrob Anthony Meneses; and lady tunesmith Mei Teve.
Apart from recording contracts and prizes from other sponsors, the grand winner of Wishcovery Originals will also be taking home a brand-new GAC GA4 1.5 GE A/T. The vehicle is powered by a Euro-5 compliant 1.5 L engine that produces a power output of 113 hp and 150 Nm of torque. Other features of the vehicle include an 8-inch color LCD display, bluetooth connectivity, USB ports, 4-speaker audio system, cruise control, parking sensors, and ECO drive mode.
“The OPM industry needs fresh new talents to make the local music industry grow. Together with Wish FM, GAC Motor Philippines is one with their goal in uplifting the music industry by encouraging these young talents to fulfill their dreams in becoming an OPM artist. We hope the GA4 that we will be giving will further inspire them to hone their talents,” said Wilbert Lim, president and CEO of GAC Motor Philippines.
The Wishcovery Originals grand finals will be streamed on November 7, 2021 at 8:00 PM, on Wish 107.5 YouTube channel.
