Geely Coolray gets new Sunburst Yellow, Cloud Blue exterior colors
Last week we reported that the Geely Coolray Sport Limited can now be purchased with a new Sunburst Yellow exterior color. This was seen on Geely Philippines’ official Facebook page and from various Geely sales executives. That’s not all, apparently.
Geely Philippines has made its true official announcement through a press release and not only does the Coolray Sport Limited get the new yellow exterior color, the base and mid-range Coolray Comfort and Premium variants also get a new color, Cloud Blue.’
Since its introduction in 2019, the Coolray has been available with just five (5) exterior color options. These are Vermillion (Red), White, Silver, Orange, and Blue, depending on the variant.
“The Coolray remains to be the most in demand model in the Geely lineup and a top-seller in its segment. With the recent introduction of the Coolray Sport Limited, we are further enhancing its appeal by adding new exterior colors. Sunburst Gold will be available for the Sport Limited variant only while the Cloud Blue will be available for the Premium and Comfort variants only,” SGAP President & CEO Yosuke Nishi said.
For the recently launched Sport Limited variant, three features were added: 18-inch black turbine-inspired wheels, power tailgate with height memory adjustment, and ventilated front seats with 3-level air supply intensity which can be independently adjusted to the driver or passenger’s liking.
“The additional features and color options we recently introduced for the Coolray is our way of telling everyone that we will never stop improving and bringing fun back in driving,” Nishi added.
It was not mentioned whether the Cloud Blue exterior color will be a limited offering for the Coolray Comfort and Premium, and how many Sport Limited units will be painted in Sunburst Yellow, especially considering that the variant is supposedly only limited to 1,000 units.
