GWM Philippines expands with first Visayas dealership in Cebu

GWM Philippines, under the distributorship of Luxuriant Automotive Group, Inc. (LAGI), rides on its growth as it expands its presence with its first dealership in the Visayas, its third in the country.

Formally inaugurated last June 6, 2025, GWM Cebu Central is located at G/F Annex Qimonda IT Center, NRA, Mabolo, Cebu City, and brings the Chinese automaker closer to more customers. 

The opening of this new dealership also means that the brand is now present in all three major island groups of the Philippines. Currently, GWM Philippines’ other dealerships are located in UN Avenue, Manila City for Luzon; and Cagayan de Oro City for Mindanao.

“This is a proud moment for us,” said GWM Philippines Brand Head and Marketing Director Dax Avenido. “Opening in Cebu is more than just a business move — it’s a testament to our confidence in the Visayas market and our desire to connect with Cebuanos who are looking for reliable, stylish, and future-ready mobility options.”

GWM Philippines also says that the opening of the new dealership coincides with the brand’s second consecutive month of sales growth. The company marked a 24% increase in month-on-month sales for May. The company also says that more dealerships are planned to be operational throughout the rest of the year.
