Hyundai Santa Fe gains new and more affordable GL variant, priced at Php 1.998M

Hyundai Motor Philippines (HMPH) is making its Santa Fe mid-size crossover more attainable with the introduction of a new entry-level 2.5 GL 2WD variant.

Currently being showcased at the Hyundai Mobility Experience (HME) tour in Festival Mall Alabang (until July 20, Sunday), the new variant is priced at Php 1,998,000 and builds on the success of the mid-size crossover.

Despite being the entry-level variant, the Santa Fe 2.5 GL 2WD still packs plenty of features from the higher variants such as the H-shaped signature lighting for the front and rear, five-spoke 20-inch alloy wheels, a 12.3-inch curved touchscreen infotainment screen, wireless phone charger, and a power tailgate.

It also shares its 2.5-liter Smartstream G naturally-aspirated gasoline engine with the GLS variants. Output is at 194 horsepower and 246Nm of torque, sent to the front wheels via an eight-speed automatic transmission.

If you already want to see the new Hyundai Santa Fe 2.5 GL 2WD in the metal, again you can do so at the Hyundai Mobility Experience which is happening at the Festival Mall Alabang until July 20 (Sunday). HEV variants of the Kona, Elantra, and Tucson; as well as N Line variants of the Elantra and Creta; along with the Stargazer X, will be on display.
