ICYMI: ACMobility has fast, fast chargers up to 480kW in Makati

We’ve seen our share of fast EV chargers crop up around the country recently, but ACMobility has just taken that a step further by unveiling two of the fastest EV chargers in the Philippines (so far).

Located in the Corinthians Carpark in Legazpi Village, Makati City are four DC chargers with two CCS2 plugs each, capable of charging speeds of up to 240kW, meaning up to eight vehicles can charge here with no issue.

But for vehicles capable of charging at even higher rates, there is a single UltraFast charger, capable of charging rates of up to 480kW, which can fill up an EV’s battery up to 80% in as little as 10 to 15 minutes, of course, depending on vehicle battery capacity and charging conditions.
The rate for these new charging stations is Php 35/kWh, which is a great deal considering that the fastest charger is priced very competitively versus other lower-output DC chargers across the country, with membership plans available helping bring the price down as much as 20%.

For those looking for other places to charge within the city, the nearby Leviste Carpark is set to follow with several new charging points to accommodate even more vehicles soon, growing ACMobility’s large EV charging network of 70 charging points across 16 locations to a targeted 100 charge points across 22 locations by the end of 2025.

Apart from this, ACMobility has its Power-on-Wheels fleet of mobile DC fast charging units allowing those without access to EV infrastructure to charge their cars, no issue. Currently, this service is available to those in Metro Manila, Taguig, and Mandaluyong, and it will expand in the future to places like Muntinlupa, Pasay, Pasig, Manila, San Juan, and Quezon City.
