Toyota Motor Philippines has quietly updated the GR Supra with the latest revision (unofficially called the A91) last December 2024. This comes at a time when the nameplate is being sunsetted in its home country with the introduction of Final Edition.

While said revision has been out for a few years now, the automaker has been showing the car off locally at several events like the GR Festival and GR Philippine Cup, with its most recent appearance having been the Auto Focus Test Drive Festival.

Power and handling improvements are always welcome.

You can tell it apart from the outside by the new multi-spoke matte forged 19-inch wheels and two new colors: Volcanic Ash Gray Metallic and Dawn Blue Metallic.

The biggest update comes to the 3.0-liter turbocharged straight six (B58), which now develops 387 horsepower (up from 335) and 500Nm, still being sent to an eight-speed automatic transmission—but sorry, no manual transmission units here.

Will Toyota Motor Philippines bring over the Final Edition in limited quantities? We hope so.

Other small improvements to the handling are adaptive variable suspension control, tuned shock absorber damping, uprated stabilizer bushings, and improved chassis control systems for improved steering feel and controllability.

Prices start at Php 5,396,000 for Prominence Red, with an additional Php 60,000 for Black Metallic 2, Matte Avalanche White Metallic, Volcanic Ash Gray Metallic, Dawn Blue Metallic, White Metallic, Plasma Orange, and an additional Php 100,000 for Matte Storm Gray Metallic.
