Isuzu PH Teases All-New D-MAX, Launches On March 4
It’s official, the Isuzu D-MAX is finally coming to the Philippines and it won’t be too long before that happens.
Isuzu Philippines has announced through a teaser on their official Facebook page that the all-new model will be launched on March 4, 2021.
Though the teaser image posted did not make mention of the D-MAX specifically, it does show very well the side profile of the all-new model just with a few shadows. A second teaser was also posted showing the complete headlight cluster of the D-MAX.
The current and outgoing Isuzu D-MAX was first introduced locally in 2013 and is heavily based on the current generation Chevrolet Colorado. The new model is built on a completely new platform and is no longer based on another model.
We don’t know yet what exact variants and specifications the all-new 2021 Isuzu D-MAX will have available locally but we can probably tell that it will have two choices of engines. These are a 1.9 L RZ4E turbodiesel that produces 150 hp and 350 Nm of torque, and a 3.0 L turbodiesel that produces 190 hp and 450 Nm of torque.
Looking forward to the 2021 Isuzu D-MAX’s launch? It will be formally introduced to the public on March 4, 2021 via Facebook Live
