Isuzu PH welcomes its new president

Making his first appearance to members of the motoring beat at the media launch of the refreshed Isuzu mu-X, new Isuzu Philippines President Mikio Tsukui has formally taken office after a turnover ceremony held last week at the Okada Manila.
Succeeding Tetsuya Fujita who will be returning to Isuzu Motors Limited in Japan after serving as the Japanese truck manufacturer’s top leader since 2023, Tsukui has over three decades of experience with the Isuzu Group.
He most recently held leadership roles in Isuzu’s China and Europe operations where he helped in enhancing the brand’s market positioning and operational efficiency. He also oversaw business strategies in the ASEAN region where he played a pivotal role in regional growth initiatives.
“I am honored to lead Isuzu Philippines Corporation and continue our mission of delivering reliable and innovative transport solutions to our customers. Together with our dedicated team, we will strive to enhance our services and contribute to the growth of the Philippine automotive industry,” said Tsukui in his inaugural speech.
Under his leadership, Tsukui aims to sustain IPC’s position as the top-selling truck brand in the Philippine market, to introduce more offerings in the light commercial vehicle (LCV) segment, and to further expand the company’s local dealership network.
