Isuzu’s PH offerings can drive over 1,000 km with one full tank
The currently fluctuating fuel prices have always been a huge concern for most motorists today. That however will not be much of a problem if you drive an Isuzu because they can travel more than 1,000 km on a single tank of fuel.
That’s what Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) was proud to announce on the first day of the recently concluded 8th Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS). The fuel economy test, dubbed the Isuzu One Full-Tank Challenge was done in partnership with the Automobile Association of the Philippines (AAP).
A team of drivers went on a 5-day roadtrip from Subic, Zambales, up north to the Ilocos region, and down to Bicol region in Southern Luzon. The Isuzu D-MAX was able to travel 1,564 kilometers without refueling. On the other hand, the Isuzu mu-X went 1,675 kilometers. This gives the two models fuel economy figures of 20.58 km/l and 20.94 km/l, respectively.
Previously, the Japanese utility vehicle maker also announced that the Traviz, one of its bestselling vehicles, is able to travel 1,063 km with a single full tank. This model already sold over 10,000 units in just two years.
Apart from displaying the N-Series in truck and modern jeepney form, the Traviz, mu-X, and D-MAX at the 8th PIMS, IPC also gave its customers the chance to test drive its units during the event.
