Jeep PH teases Compass and updated Renegade
What appears to be the updated 2020 Jeep Renegade was teased on the official Facebook page of Jeep Philippines. The photo simply shows a portion of the SUV with the phrase “The All-New.”
This could also mean that these models could be the same Renegade and Compass units that were exported to the Philippines from China. The teaser on the Jeep Philippines Facebook page comes a few weeks after GAC-FCA, the official joint venture of Fiat-Chrysler Automobile (FCA) in China, announced that it has exported a total of 527 units of the Compass and Renegade to the country.
The updated version of the Renegade was first revealed in 2018 for the 2019 model year. It comes with different upgrades to the exterior which gives it a more upmarket look. There are also a handful of changes in the interior. The Compass was previewed in the country during the 2019 Manila International Auto Show.
It is not yet known what exact variants and specifications the new Renegade and Compass will get once it’s launched here. We can expect their launch after the lifting of the “enhanced community quarantine” in Metro Manila and surrounding provinces of Luzon
